Speaker: John Gerlaugh, Operations Officer at the Fund for Liberty and Justice
Topic: John Gerlaugh will provide some briefing on the current situation in Ukraine, and provide some national security information concerning China. John has 48 years of experience in both public and private sectors, working with the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of State, USAID, and various non-profits. He specializes in managing and implementing national security policies and programs.

John has held various positions in the Pentagon, Afghanistan, and Iraq, including as a political officer, deputy director for Iraq policy, and chief of governance in reconstruction teams. His numerous leadership roles have been in national security, counterterrorism, and security cooperation. John's multiple high-level civilian service and military medals include the Secretary of Defense Exceptional Civilian Service Medal (three times) and Global War on Terrorism Medal (Afghanistan).

John is currently the Operations Officer at the Fund for Liberty and Justice, supporting Ukrainian civil society and military.
